Pakistan is sponsoring terrorism at an industry level, according to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Jaishankar, during a Q&A round in Singapore, emphasized that India is not to overlook terrorists and will not skirt this problem anymore. He questioned how to deal with a neighbor who uses terrorism as an instrument of statecraft. Jaishankar said that India must find a way to address the menace and not give the other country a free pass.

India s External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, emphasized the challenges faced during India s G20 presidency and the importance of addressing the global growth and development agenda at a UN event in New York.
The external affairs minister also spoke of the use of new technologies by terror groups, saying that the internet and social media platforms have turned into potent instruments in the "toolkit of terrorists and militant groups".
