One year later: Vigil held honoring victims of University of Idaho murders

University of Idaho held a vigil in honor of the one-year anniversary of the deaths of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin Monday night. On Nov. 13, 2022, the four were murdered in their off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho, and a year later the over 300 students and members of the community.

Rally comes up short: Vestaburg softball scores one run in final inning, falls just short of St. Charles in 8-6 loss

The Vestaburg Wolverines softball team dug themselves an early hole and, despite late efforts to climb out of it, fell just short in game one of Friday’s doubleheader. The Wolverines would come up just short in the 8-6 loss against St. Charles at home. There were no hung heads in the dugout following the game, however the girls knew they made a great effort to get the win.
