AP Assembly Budget Session 2021- Highlights

Andhra Pradesh Assembly Budget Session commenced at 9 AM on Thursday after the BAC meeting was convened. Earlier the Andhra Pradesh cabinet cleared the 2021-22 annual budget.

HIGHLIGHTS
Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath tabled the 2021-22 budget at Rs 2,29,779.27 crore.The revenue expenditure was estimated at Rs 1.73 lakh crore with revenue deficit pegged at Rs 5,000 crore and fiscal deficit at Rs 37,029 crore.The Assembly will also pass a resolution opposing the Centre s plans to privatise the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant at the end of the session ....
