Former food and beverage manager, Bruce K. Pofahl, 62, shot and killed former co-workers Ian J. Simpson, 32, and Jacob T. Bartel, 35, before seriously injuring another former co-worker, 28-year-old Danny Mulligan, in a targeted attack that began Saturday evening inside the Duck Creek Kitchen + Bar, which is located inside the Oneida Casino. By Kelly Fisher Police fatally shot a gunman who appeared to target a Wisconsin casino over the weekend. Two people were killed and another was wounded in the incident at Oneida Casino in Green Bay. It happened late Saturday night (May 1), the “He was targeting a specific victim who was not there, but he decided to still shoot some of the victim’s friends or co-workers, it appears,” Brown County Sheriff’s Lt. Kevin Pawlak said of the gunman during a news conference. He added, “it appears there’s some relationship that had to do with employment.” WLUK-TV reported Monday (May 3) that that the gunman was a former employee of the Duck Creek Kitchen + Bar at the casino. He shot and killed two of the employees at the waiter station. ....

The donation site was set up by the National Compassion Fund to provide support to the families of Ian J. Simpson, 32, and Jacob T. Bartel, 35, who were shot and killed in the shooting Saturday night, and Daniel Mulligan, 28, who was seriously injured. Mulligan remains in intensive care and is recovering after he was shot, according to a separate GoFundMe campaign set up by his sister, Caitlin Mulligan. ....
