May 8, 2021 WELLSVILLE William E. “Bill” Wells, 72, of Wellsville, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born October 8, 1948, in Chester, West Virginia, the son of the late Guy H. Wells and the late Freda M. (Nally) and Donald Williams. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers: Lloyd Wells and Russell Fiest. Bill graduated from Oak Glen High School in 1966, and he went on to serve his country in the United States Army from 1968-1971 during the Vietnam War. He was employed for twenty-five years as a heavy machinery mechanic supervisor for Standard Slag. He then worked for seven years as a supervisor at International Mill Service, and most recently for ten years as an associate at Roberts Funeral Home. Bill loved to work on anything with a motor, and he could always be found in his garage working on his latest mechanical project. Bill was Christian by faith and was saved by his Lord
