There’s been a lot of complaining, whining and gnashing of teeth ever since the CIAC expanded the football playoffs from four to six divisions at the request of the Connecticut High School .

They come from Bethlehem, Litchfield, Torrington, Washington and all points in between to meet at Nonnewaug High School in Woodbury and play football for the Northwest United co-op.
