Public schools are often described as the hubs or even the hearts of communities. In Arkansas, we ve set high expectations for these centers of learning and the educators and children within them. As a state, we ve made it our mission to ensure every student graduates prepared for college, career and community engagement. But we must recognize that achieving this collective aim cannot and should not be shouldered by our schools alone. Instead, laying the framework for student success requires a holistic approach built on consistent community engagement.
