TENANTS HARBOR Jackson Memorial Library, 71 Main Street, Tenants Harbor, will host an exhibition of paintings by artists Lauren Gill and Lydia Kaeyer. The show begins July 20 and runs through August 6.
Lauren Gill’s genres vary from the beautiful landscapes and seascapes that surround all of us here on the Midcoast daily to still life’s, abstracts and pet portraits. She works in oils, watercolors and acrylics. Her time is split between her studio in Tenants Harbor and her Florida home, where she shows her work as a member of the Art Center of Bonita Springs. Lauren’s work has been shown locally at Art Space Gallery in Rockland and Art of the See in South Thomaston.

TENANTS HARBOR Jackson Memorial Library, in Tenants Harbor, will host an exhibition entitled “Go Fish: The Art of Hand Tied Lures” featuring artists Maryfaith Morison and Cade Nickels. The show begins May 13 and runs through June 29.
Maryfaith is immersed in the Maine artists community as a founding member of Press Hard, a printmaking collective and a member of the Waterfall Arts collaborative. At Waterfall Arts, she teaches classes in Intaglio Etching. Her journey into printmaking developed from a life long drawing practice and long career in jewelry/metalsmithing. The current body of her artistic work is abstracted from nature and examine themes of the fragility of life and the repetition of certain structures throughout diverse life forms.
