Weston High School s Alpine ski team had an outstanding season this winter, with both the girls and boys skiing consistently well and becoming Mass. Bay West league champions. It is the first time a school has achieved this dual, simultaneous success, a feat even more impressive considering this is the second consecutive year that the boys have won the league.
The ski season of 2020-21 will be remembered as “the masked one. The pandemic meant that not only was it harder to get practice slots at the local mountains, but no spectators were allowed at races, the races were single run events, and there was no official JV team racing.
