The Board of Trustees unanimously voted against closing Golden View Elementary on Tuesday night, but Spring View Middle School will be consolidated and turned into the district office.
The Ocean View School District held a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday. While work is underway, students and faculty will be spending their school year at an interim site, the former Sun View Elementary.
Ocean View School District Board of Trustees President Patricia Singer announced Wednesday the decision to pause the proposed closing of three schools, and repurposing of another, for the 2023-24 school year.
