Volunteers reach milestone of 100 student desks built and donated

What began as a seemingly simple mission to build and donate desks to underprivileged students learning from home has grown into a movement that has produced more than 100 desks, with plans to build 100 more.
Keep the Kids Focused is the passion project of a group of Leominster-based volunteers led by John Mahan and Bob Antocci. Since last fall the troupe has built desks in Antocci’s woodwork shop and donated them, along with chairs, to Leominster students who are learning remotely and may otherwise not be able to afford to purchase them given the financial impact of COVID-19. ....
