Residents of the Queen & Ashbridge Condos won’t have to brave a packed Ontario highway if it’s cottage-country vibes they’re after.

City launches improvement plan for Toronto Island Park as visitor demand increases
The city launched a blueprint laying out development work on Wednesday to improve the visitor experience on Toronto Island Park and put a focus on the park’s Indigenous history. The project, called the Toronto Island Park Master Plan, acts as a guide for future decision making for the popular park, which sees close to 1.5 million visitors a year.

February ferries across Lake Ontario, once reserved only for island residents and the bravest of cold weather excursionists, are carrying more visitors across the water than winters past.
People are cooped up, there are less things to do in the city, says Julian Ganton, longtime island resident and owner of Toronto Island SUP.
There really haven t been that many people visiting in the winter simply because it s not seen as a winter destination. ....
