For almost 100 years, Jack and Jill has been a hallmark in the African American community. It’s a rite of passage of sorts for Black children transitioning into adulthood.
The Center for African American History, Art and Culture partnered with Jack and Jill of America the Aiken Chapter to hold Black Children s Book Week with local Black authors, such as Bakari Sellers.
