RADICAL REFORM is needed to fix âan under-resourced and fragmented system of child protectionâ, a report published today by the Childrenâs Commissioner for England, Anne Longfield, has said.
Titled âInjustice or In Justice: Children in the Justice systemâ, the study said that locking up children is not helping to stop crime, highlighting that 7 in 10 children released from custody reoffend within a year in England.

LONDON: Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) groups, including people of Indian-origin in the UK, are reluctant to take the vaccine against COVID-19, a new study said on Wednesday, urging the UK government to initiate more targeted campaigns.
