im deborah souverain filling us this midday. im deborah souverain filling in for jessica rae. this morning we re following breaking news out of sioux city. where a fire erupted atthe restaurant sneaky s chicken. that s where we find elisa raffa who has been at the scene of the fire since 9:45 this morning. elisa is there any idea of what may have sparked the fire? deborah hey elisa how s it going out there? elisa deborah, im here at the sneaky s on gordon drive where earlier this morning a fire broke out in the attached shed in the back of the resturant. at 9:30 this morning sioux city fire responded to a call at sneakys chicken on gordon drive. there was heavy smoke coming from the storage attachment behind the resturant but the entered the building, although heavy smoke did, employees inside of the restruant made it out safely. the cause of the fire has not yet under investigation of year we have a lot of concerns with freezing conditions. this was one of the fires that

news. today in mason city, republican presidential candidate ted cruz responded to the arrest of two refugees on terrorist charges. police arrested one in houston, texas, and the other in sacramento, california, on charges of supporting isis. cruz is using this as a way to support his view that the u-s should not accept refugees from syria. both came in through the vetting programs that president obama tells us are perfectly effective for vetting terrorists. cruz used to be a long time supporter of expanding legal immigration. but he now says there should be a temporary halt on legal immigration. johnson county needs poll workers for a january 19th special election. county auditor travis weipert says because of the unusual date and the short notice, the usual workers are not available. poll workers get 200 dollars for the entire day. the special election will fill a johnson county board of supervisors. we had d foggy, drizzly day outside today. will this continue into the
