ANADARKO, OK — The formal arraignment for the couple accused of causing the death of 4-year-old Athena Brownfield was postponed Wednesday due to a scheduling conflict for the judge.
The mother of a 4-year-old Oklahoma girl who sparked a state-wide search after she went missing and was later found in an unmarked shallow grave appeared in court on Wednesday.
The district attorney is recommending the death penalty for Alysia Adams who is charged with first-degree murder for her role in the death of 4-year-old Athena Brownfield.
