The Wellesley Chamber of Commerce will become part of the Newton-Needham Regional Chamber as of Jan. 4.
Members of the Wellesley Chamber will be invited to join the NNRC, according to a  Wellesley Chamber s Board of Directors announcement,  and we will work with the NNRC leadership to make certain that all Wellesley businesses and nonprofits have a loud and clear voice. This innovative arrangement will create synergy, offer strength and amplify impact.
A Wellesley subcommittee will be devoted exclusively to Wellesley interests and ultimately participation on the NNRC s board.
The idea of working with the NNRC has been under study for many months. The time is right for us to work together, the announcement said. Similar transitions are happening across the country as businesses pivot, adapt and reinvent themselves in the face of a global pandemic. This path forward is a win-win. ....
