Makinde Inaugurates N8.5bn Road in Bauchi

The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for the construction of 24.5km Itas-Gadau Road project worth N8.5 billion in Bauchi State, saying that the road project would leave a legacy for his administration.
Speaking at the official ground breaking ceremony at Itas-Gadau Local Government Area of Bauchi State yesterday, Governor Makinde said that the inauguration of the road project was significant because of its economic social value to the people of the area and Bauchi State as a whole.
He said that he was convinced that leaders could succeed in moving Nigeria forward if they continue to drive up people economic empowerment by providing infrastructures the people need, adding that Nigerians were resilient people who needed the right environment to flourish. ....
