ED attaches land worth Rs 20 Crore of J&K industrialist in bank fraud case
Bank Of India classified the loan as non-performing assets (NPA) on December 31, 2014.

The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has attached assets worth Rs 20.25 crore of a Jammu & Kashmir based industrialist in an alleged bank fraud case, officials said. The attached properties belonging to industrialist Raj Kumar Gupta include land in Samba district worth Rs 7.59 crore and in Pulwama district worth Rs 12.66 crore.
According to the financial probe agency, Raj Kumar Gupta took a loan from Bank Of India and later he was allegedly involved in siphoning off funds to the tune of Rs 91.63 crore. The loan amount was siphoned off using three firms - Jhelum Infra Projects India Pvt Limited (Rs 39.70 crore), Jhelum Industries (Rs 33.83 crore) and ID SoodIspat Private Limited (Rs.18.1 ....
