BIC students fall behind in virtual learning
Virtual students failing, school to help By Monae Stevens | March 2, 2021 at 6:51 PM CST - Updated March 2 at 7:23 PM
MONETTE, Ark. (KAIT) - Buffalo Island Central High School has been dealing with the strains of virtual learning.
Principal Randy Rose says he has noticed students and parents taking advantage of working from home.
“It seems like to us that there is an idea that it was like it was from March to May,” Rose said, “meaning you didn’t have to do much work.”
With two months left in the school year, Rose says many students who have D’s and F’s in at least one class and seniors are letting scholarship opportunities fall through the cracks.
