that s exactly the sort of ugly, sectarian violence that afghans have become all too accustomed to but are also deeply sick of. the question then becomes can the taliban get a grip on the situation? can they try to contain the threat posed by isis-k. we have seen that isis-k has claimed responsibility for this attack. and one can only assume that they will continue to try to hit these soft targets. the taliban spent years being the insurgency. now they re the ones in charge and they have to grapple with an insurgency. and they re seeing themselves that it presents a number of challenges. a mysterious syndrome that sickened diplomats and spies has been given legal recognition by the u.s. president. joe biden has signed an act that will give victims of solid havana syndrome better access to medical care. it s not known what causes the condition that has sometimes resulted in brain trauma. one theory is blaming russia
