PHOENIX Migrant encounters at Arizona’s U.S.-Mexico border increased 60 percent from February to March, causing the state’s attorney general to file a federal lawsuit challenging President Biden’s immigration policy, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to send money to Pima county to cover the costs to care and house asylum-seekers.

Data analyzed by ABC15 shows 2021 will most likely break a record for unaccompanied minors.
