Late Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe’s former Los Angeles home has been saved from demolition and is on the way to being designated a historic cultural monument, against the wishes of its owners.
The owners of Marilyn Monroe's Brentwood home argued against landmark status, but L.A.'s Cultural Heritage Commission unanimously voted to recommend the property as a historic cultural monument.
