Azerbaijan s AZCOSMETICS GROUP LLC, a resident of the High Technologies Park under the National Academy of Sciences, will produce hair dye, the company s Director Ulduza Khanlarova said, Trend reports on Feb.17.
According to Khanlarova, the production and export of shampoos, balms, creams, various cosmetic oils, and other care products are planned in the future.
She noted that the enterprise, which aims to produce hair dyes using natural ingredients, will also manufacture creams containing naphthalene oil.
The director added that negotiations are underway with companies to sell respective equipment and raw materials, and certain agreements have already been reached.

Azerbaijani Vugar Allahverdiyev, who worked as an adviser to the envoy on youth of the UN secretary general in New York, was appointed program manager of the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism, Trend reports on Feb. 16 referring to the UN.
Previously, Allahverdiyev held high positions at the UN Office in Azerbaijan, the headquarters of the organization in New York.
Allahverdiyev launched his professional career in 2006 at the UNDP Baku office. He is the first Azerbaijani appointed to the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism.
Allahverdiyev will lead a program aimed at determining the directions of terrorist routes by plane and ship, creating infrastructure in the UN member-states to suppress such routes and international cooperation in this sphere.

Azerbaijan has imposed a temporary ban on the import of all types of live bird and poultry products from the Central Bohemian Region (Czech Republic) and the State of Brandenburg (Germany) due to the detection of the highly pathogenic disease bird flu , the Azerbaijani Food Safety Agency told Trend on Feb.12.
The ban is based on zoning principles in accordance with the Terrestrial Animal Health Code of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE).
At the same time, in order to strengthen control measures regarding the implementation of the necessary actions in connection with arriving and transit vehicles from the Czech Republic and Germany, a corresponding appeal was sent to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
