Pierre, SD, USA / DRGNews Jul 24, 2021 | 10:26 PM BRANDON – A line drive three-run home run to right field by Bennett Dean in the bottom of the eighth inning Saturday gave Post 8 a 6-3 win over Watertown in the elimination bracket of the Class A Legion State Tournament at Aspen Park. Maguire Raske doubled with one out in the Post 8 eighth.  Cade Hinkle walked with two out.  Dean then hit the first pitch from Watertown’s Easton Thury over the fence in right to win the game for Post 8 (25-18). All of Post 8’s runs came on home runs.  Hinkle hit a three-run homer to right field in the bottom of the first before Watertown scored two in the second inning and one in the third.
