MISHAWAKA — Officials are investigating after a dead body was found in the restroom of Ball Band Biergarten in the Ironworks Plaza Tuesday morning.
The cause of death is being investigated by the St. Joseph County Coroner s Office, but Mishawaka police are not currently treating the man s death as suspicious.
According to Mishawaka police, officers were dispatched to the beer garden around 9:30 a.m. for complaints of a foul odor coming from one of the bathrooms. Officers found the body of male in the bathroom and believe the man had been there for some time before being discovered.
Police are investigating how the man got into the locked bathroom, a department release said. ....
