FSJ brewery joins exclusive pack raising money for northern children's charities | Energeticcity.ca

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C – A local brewery is being spotlighted along with eight northern breweries across the region.
Mighty Peace Brewing collaborated with a few northern breweries to create a unique beer for an exclusive 8-pack being sold to benefit northern children’s charities.
The 8-pack is being sold to celebrate this year’s Kiwanis Alefest, one of B.C’s more popular beer events, which was cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizers decided to switch things up to continue to raise funds for kids in need.
Head Brewer with Mighty Peace, Zach Mirosevic, says the company has a long-standing relationship with the club and jumped on the opportunity to collaborate. ....

Eight beers lined up for virtual Kiwanis AleFest

The beers will be showcased the night before through the same platform, 6 p.m. start.
“It was apparent by spring 2020 that we were not going to be able to host Kiwanis Alefest in 2021,” said AleFest organizer Jamie Cunningham. “However, we felt collectively that if there was a time that the breweries needed a little extra attention and people needed a little bit more happiness, it was this year.
This project has been so much fun to plan, and the cherry on the top is that all the proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon, and charities that support kids and families in the North.” ....
