Mary Carol Schmidt, 87, of Lombard, IL, (formÂerly Fort Dodge IA) passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Beacon Hill Retirement CommunÂity with her children by her side.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 17th at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 16th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.
Mary was born on February 23, 1934 and placed in the loving arms of her parents Linus and Irene (Hennessey) Hammond. She is preceded in death by her husband John J Schmidt and her parents Linus and Irene Hammond.
