2 Cedar Falls Teens Launch Fundraiser For IA Heartland Habitat For Humanity’s ReStore
A new charitable project is coming to the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area that offers a great way to give during the holiday season.
Donating to the LED Brighter Communities’ ReStore Project is truly the gift that keeps on giving this holiday season and for years to come. Two Cedar Falls high school juniors, Will Lynch and Harrison Redfern, have been working with LED Brighter Communities over the past few months on organizing and coordinating the conversion of the Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity ReStore to 100% LED lighting. The two teens are now launching a fundraiser for the store located at 4107 Hammond Avenue in Waterloo. For those not familiar, ReStore is a discount home improvement store that sells donated building materials at a discount. 100% of net proceeds support Iowa Heartland Habitat For Humanity and help build for local families.
