He had a deep commitment to education and was a founding instructor at the ambitious but short-lived Advanced School of Contemporary Music in Toronto, along with pianist Oscar Peterson and bassist Ray Brown
It is with profound sadness that the College of Fine Arts shares the following: UNM Professor of Music and Director of Bands Eric Rombach-Kendall has passed away. He is survived by his wife Julie Rombach-Kendall and children, Rebecca Kendall and Michael.
