Phagwara: Lovely Professional University (LPU) will establish Guru Nanak Dev Chair on December 18. Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will virtually attend the event as the chief guest. The day will also witness release ceremony of English version of the book, “Shri Guru Nanak Dev Jee”, which has been authored by the Union Education Minister. Guest of Honour will be Reuben Gauci, High Commissioner of Malta. Punjab Minister of Technical Education and Industrial Training Charanjit Singh Channi will also preside over the virtual event. The ‘Chair’ will be entrusted with conducting research on the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev. ....
