(MURFREESBORO) International Folkfest Founder and Director Steve Cates told NewsRadio WGNS that the 2022 event has been cancelled. This decision was made due to the uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Cates said, "At a time when the state shuts-down the university at a moment’s notice and air travel is halted without notice, Folkfest directors have voted to cancel the 2022 Folkfest that had previously been set for this summer, June 5-12."
