Master of Sports on International Class Hojamuhammet Toychiyev has taken the fourth position in the weight category above 109 kg at Asian Weightlifting Championship in Tashkent.
8 athletes from 7 countries competed for the medals in super heavy weight. In the first two attempts in snatch, Hojamuhammet has lifted 176 and 181 kg respectively. He tried to lift 187 in the third attempt but it was unsuccessful.
In clean and jerk, 29-year old foster of Honored Coach of Turkmenistan Ikram Matkarimov have also managed to lift declared weight of 223 kg. But in the last two attempts, he couldn’t lift first 231 kg and after 232 kg. In the result, H. Toychiyev has lifted 404 kg in total. ....
