After Saturday s meeting with the High-Power Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the agitating groups of Ladakh are hopeful that their concerns will be addressed by the Centre.
After they met with the Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai on December 4, leaders of the agitating Ladakh groups submitted a draft of their demands to the Union Government on January 22.
