A nurse treating COVID-19 positive patients on the Gold Coast said the start of the vaccine campaign on Monday marked a day of hope for Australia.
Ian Cook, one of the first six Queenslanders to receive the Pfizer vaccine at the Gold Coast University Hospital, said there was “definitely a lot of hope and just feeling that we are getting out of this” in the air.
