An Accra Circuit Court has adjourned to February 23, the case of Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson also known as (aka) Bulldog, who is accused of threatening President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in a video recording. Nana Hanson, an artiste manager, is said to have said on a United Television (UTV) programme that, “the President will not finish his tenure and that he will run away if he failed to pay customers of Menzgold their deposits.” Charged with “offensive conduct, conducive to breach of the peace,” Nana Hanson pleaded not guilty, and is on GH¢70, 000 bail. The court ordered the prosecution to serve Bulldog with disclosures to facilitate a case management conference. ....

‘Bulldog’ granted GH¢70,000.00 bail for allegedly threatening President January 15, 2021 Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, known showbiz industry as ‘Bulldog’, has been granted a GH¢70,000.00 bail with three sureties by an Accra Circuit Court for allegedly threatening President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. The court presided by Mrs Evelyn Asamoah said two of the sureties should be public servants. The court ordered the accused to report to the police every Monday, and adjourned the case to January 28. According to the GNA, Bulldog at about 3:30 pm Wednesday, January 13, 2021, was seen escorted to the court by armed policemen and plain-clothed officers. ....
