This was
revealed by Police Minister Bheki Cele during the funeral of slain cop
Constable Mfihloyakhe Ndlovu, who died on duty while attending to a
gender-based violence matter.
Ndlovu from
KwaXimba in KZN was buried on Sunday, 28 February. His funeral took place at
the Inkosi Mlaba Sports Centre.
Speaking at
the funeral service, Mqondisi Ndlovu (52) said his brother will be missed.
“He was the
pillar of our family. We’ve lost a great brother. He was loving, kind and
honest,” he said.
He said the
fact that he died on duty proves he was a great hero. ....
