State Police: Semi Crash Injures Two, Partially Closes I-69
MADISON COUNTY, Ind. Indiana State Police were called to I-69 North around 10 last night on a report of a crash with injuries. Troopers arrived to find a blue Chrysler Sebring wrecked and a semi-truck inverted about one hundred feet away.
Investigators say the driver of the semi, Ruslan Osmonkanov of Texas, was driving northbound when he spotted a random car stopped and sitting halfway in the driver’s lane. Osmonkanov swerved to avoid hitting the car but ended up smashing into the blue Sebring driven by Starla Crose of Noblesville.
The crash totaled both the semi and car and caused a part of I-69 North to close for three and a half hours.
