velshi starts now. good morning, it is sunday, july 18, i m ali velshi. chuck schumer says the time for action is now, but congress only has little time to make progress in making president biden s infrastructure goals a reality. on wednesday, the senate is set to hold a procedural vote on biden s $597 billion bipartisan infrastructure plan. the plan hasn t been fully written and negotiations are still ongoing. the details about how it will be paid for are fuzzy at best. and so far it is unclear if schumer s efforts to push negotiators to make a final agreement will actually work. democrats are sprinting to the finish line on the infrastructure bill and the focus is on critically needed upgrades to roads, bridges and public transit. republicans are taking a more leisurely pace. as retiring ohio senator rob ....
