Infosys Buyback: Approval For Shares Worth Rs 9,200 Cr Upto Rs 1,750 Per Share

Infosys Ltd. has announced a buyback plan with the Board approving the proposal worth Rs 9,200 crore. The company also announced the earnings for the quarter ending in March and fiscal year 2021. Infosys in a regulatory filing said that shares will be bought back via the open market route through the stock exchanges.
The buyback will be done at a price of up to Rs 1,750 per share through the open market route. The Bengaluru-based company had enhanced its capital allocation plan from FY20 and said it will return 85 per cent of free cash flow cumulatively over five years via buyback and dividends. ....

Infosys reported a 2.3% decline in Q4 net profit at Rs 5,076 crore as compared to the previous quarter in the same fiscal. The figure stood Rs 4,321 crore in the same period last fiscal.

Infosys on Wednesday reported a quarterly decline of 2.3% in its fourth-quarter consolidated net profit at Rs 5,076 crore owing to weak margins. Net profit in the third quarter of FY21 was reported at Rs 5,197 crore. It was reported at Rs 4,321 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.
Consolidated revenue from operations during Q4 ended March 31, 2021, was reported at Rs 26,311 crore, up 1.5% sequentially and 13.08 higher than the same period last fiscal.      ....

Infosys hits fresh record high; m-cap crosses Rs 6-trillion mark


Shares of Infosys hit a fresh record high of Rs 1,425 after rising nearly 3 per cent on the BSE in intra-day trade on Monday, which propelled the company s market capitalisation (market-cap) beyond Rs 6 trillion mark. The stock surpassed its previous high of Rs 1,406.25, touched on March 16, 2021.
At 10:01 am, Infosys was trading 2 per cent higher at Rs 1,411.80, with a market-cap of Rs 6.01 trillion, the BSE data shows. In comparison, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 2 per cent or 1,030 points at 48,999. In the past two months, Infosys has outperformed the market by surging 12 per cent, against 3 per cent decline in the benchmark index. ....
