In April 2016, when a gym accident left me with a broken foot, I was bored to death viewing already-watched films and shows, when an acquaintance suggested I should watch Korean content, especially the dramas.
Initially sceptical, but with nothing better to do, I began with the popular “Descendants of the Sun”, the love story between an army officer and a doctor caught in a battle of ideologies, who soon find themselves on the same side fighting a hostage situation, a deadly virus and natural disasters. I was simply hooked! ....
