Indian Malayali action film Jallikattu and India’s entry to Oscar 2021 will be soon screened in North America. Film production and distribution company XYZ Films as gained the North American rights to Jallikattu.
Lijo Jose Pellissery has directed the film. The movie is based on the cataclysmic situations that develop when a butcher’s wild ox escapes and runs out of control through a far off town in Kerala’s hills.
The movie debuted at the 2019 Toronto Film Festival, where critics applauded it, and Pellissery got the Best Director prize at the 50th International Film Festival of India. Jallikattu is now accessible to watch on Amazon Prime and will make its way to other platforms in mid-2021.
