New Delhi, April 9 : Days after a French news portal alleged that a middleman was paid several million euros by Dassault Aviation, makers of Rafale fighter jets, businessman Sushen Mohan Gupta s legal team broke its silence and denied all the allegations as fabricated and baseless .
The legal team claimed that neither Gupta nor his companies were involved in any manner in the Indo-French transaction for the acquisition of 36 fighter jets.
The remarks from the businessman s legal team came days after a French news portal, Mediapart, in three investigative reports claimed that it was in possession of documents that showed Dassault Aviation, which manufactures the Rafale jet, and its industrial partner Thales, a defence electronics firm, paid middleman Gupta several mill ....

Counsel of arms dealer Sushen Gupta has termed the series of reports in the French media of kickbacks in the 2016 €7.87 billion Rafale deal between India and France as “false, baseless and mischievous”.
