India and Pakistan recently attended a meeting in Vienna to discuss the long-standing dispute over the Indus Waters Treaty. India participated in the meeting with a high-powered delegation, led by the Secretary of the Department of Water Resources.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Saturday said that Pakistan is creating unwanted hurdles in the power projects Kishanganga (330 megawatts) and Ratle (850 megawatts), which will be built in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, as India is not stopping the flow of water but only using it for the power projects.
