The 12 thefts allegedly began on Feb. 27, when Swampscott Police responded to the Citgo gas station at 219 Paradise Road. When they arrived, a window was broken and 300 Massachusetts scratch tickets were gone.
Connecticut State Police are looking for a woman accused of trying to steal thousands of dollars by posing as someone else, and using their social security.
Police said that in the past month, six stores have reported similar robberies in New Hampshire and other incidents have been reported on the Massachusetts North Shore.
