Shops in Hay-on-Wye will be able to offer cashback for purchases of just 1p SHOPS in Hay-on-Wye are taking part in a new initiative where they can offer cashback following a purchase of as little as one pence. As part of a Government led Independent Access to Cash Review the market town was chosen as one of nine pilot towns in the UK to test new initiatives designed to help people access cash. The initiative allows businesses in Hay to offer cashback without an expensive purchase. Businesses are paid £50 per month to offer the service, to help cover the costs involved. ....
