cash bail being eliminated. is that a fair is that why this is happening? well, i think that it s happening for a number of reasons. you know, people are not working. we have sadly a major income inequality gap that we need to address. and investment we need to make to make sure people have opportunities to find gainful employment and develop their own businesses and do other things that will allow them to have financial resources. and i think it s a combination of things. yes, there is it s necessary for us to push for criminal justice reform because of our unjust laws and how they impact certain communities more than others, but more importantly, there also has to be a component of accountability. i think that the accountability component is not as strong as it needs to be to deter the crimes we re seeing. by that am i to infer the
bloomberg, running the largest city in america, having crime rates and murder rate guess down to historic lows and pete buttigieg, running 299th largest city, seeing a soaring murder rate. i think as buttigieg was talking about iowa voters taking this seriously, as they dial in on the actual record of achievements, i think the bloomberg record will make mayor pete look like he s not really neither do well with black voters and certainly when bloomberg left new york, black his not recovered from the great recession and the greatest income inequality gap in the country is in new york city, under his mayorship. white men make more than black women in this country, i don t know how that will resonate with democratic voters. he has his challenges. something deneen brought up. you asked who should be more worried, should be donald trump and the republicans, because
this impeachment inquiry. they re going to keep putting their case forward. look, i support elizabeth warren. i have from the very beginning. i was there for her launch back in february because she is interested in talking about real issues that confront real families middle class, working class families, people struggling underneath this income inequality gap. she puts those issues forward every time she s on the debate stage and while she is doing that, she is re-engineering the way a presidential campaign can be run by rejecting corporate contributions, lobbyist contributions, you know, for people like me who are just starting out and, you know, know how hard it is to raise money, she is showing that it can be done. you can be in the top three raising money, showing momentum, showing a surge in the polls, all the while you re speaking your truth and running a grass roots campaign. so i m excited to see this
