Disability & Human Rights Advocate to Speak at Mitchell College

Mitchell College kicks off its Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Social Justice Week with virtual speaker AJ Link, a disability and human rights advocate, on Monday, March 22, from 7 to 8 p.m. The free event, a Zoom Webinar, is open to the public. Register at https://mitchell.edu/speaker-aj-link/
Openly autistic, Link will share his story, including his path to advocacy in disability and human rights. He will also talk about how students can become social justice advocates.
Link received his JD from The George Washington University (GW) Law School and was awarded the Michael Dillon Cooley Memorial Award by his graduating class for his compassion and humanity in serving fellow students. While at GW, he chaired the Diversity and Inclusion Assembly for the Student Association and the Student Life Committee. He also founded the Atypical Student Society, a student organization for neurodiverse and disabled law students. ....
