백령도 보트 훔쳐 월북시도 30대…운전 못해 잠들어 걸렸다

인천지검 형사6부(김영오 부장검사)는 국가보안법상 잠입·탈출 및 절도 등 혐의로 A(39)씨를구속 기소했다고 23일 밝혔다.

A씨는 지난달 16일 오후 8시께 인천시 옹진군 백령도 용기포신항에 정박해 있던 1.33t급 모터보트를 훔쳐 타고 월북하려 한 혐의를 받고 있다.

범행 3개월 전까지는 정수기 판매 회사에 다니며 일을 했으나 검거 직전에는 별다른 직업이 없었던 A씨는 처지를 비관해 월북하려 한 것으로 알려졌다.

그는 올해 5월 12일과 같은 달 28일에도 렌터카를 빌려 타고 경기도 파주시 통일대교 남문을 통과해 월북하려다가 군인에게 2차례 제지당한 것으로 조사됐다.

검찰 관계자는 국가보안법 위반 사건이 최장 30일간 ....
