well, what s important to know is in southlake, the attempt to address issues like this, it was called the sea cap. it was basically a diversity and inclusion plan has been held up and put on hold by a restraining order that a parent against the plan got through a lawsuit. and so, the short answer to your question is no and the district, because of this restraining order, is unable to implement a new comprehensive plan that would address not just student-to-student issues but also administrator trainings or education for administrators who perhaps don t understand much about gender identity or who don t have experience with lgbtq issues. the school district has essentially said their hands are tied, and em s family has told us they have made very clear what actions they wanted the school district to take in response to this. and it s been months now. this happened in the spring. and this student is still reeling from this. i mean, that is the school district. have stories like thes ....
